Conquer stress, nervous tension and anxiety with strange, mysterious words from a underground language.
Stress is regarded by curative authorities as an important contributory factor in many serious curative conditions. High blood pressure, heart attacks, asthma, eczema, stomach ulcers, rheumatoid arthritis are all conditions in which stress plays a valuable role.
Many curative practitioners believe a large proportion of the patients, who visit them, complaining of a great variety of symptoms, are not suffering from anyone organic. Their symptoms are psychosomatic. They stem from emotional causes.
Although the cause of their curative problems is emotional - more often than not the follow of ultimate stress - the pain they are suffering is just as real as if they were experiencing the pain of a broken limb.
Stressful, nerve-racking situations can sway everyone. Everyone, at some stage is forced to face situations of ultimate stress that can cause nervous anxiety. No one is completely immune to these pressures.
The nature of these stressful incidents varies from person to person. So does the individual response. An incident regarded as highly stressful by one person, might not be determined nerve-racking at all by another.
It's not the nature of the incident, or the situation itself, but the individual reaction that is important.
There all the time will be stress-causing incidents. They are impossible to avoid. What is important is how you are able to deal with these difficult situations; how you are able to cope with these stressful incidents.
Some habitancy have trained themselves to deal with stressful incidents far more effectively than others.
The very astute, perceptive criticism Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt made so many years ago, with regard to personal criticism that some habitancy find so upsetting, is just as applicable today: "No one can make you feel inferior without your permission".
It is important to all the time keep in mind that the pain, pain or illness you may suffer as a follow of your over-reaction to stressful incidents is all the time self-induced!
You right on have the power to curb and restrain yourself from reacting with inordinate emotion to stressful situations. There are a whole of techniques you can use that will supply you with this power. There are skills you can master.
One of these skills - a skill I have industrialized and used over and over again in my firm vocation with very good follow - is contained in the title of this article: "Strange words from a mysterious language can help you cope with stress and nervous anxiety".
This is not as mysterious as it sounds. In actual fact it is quite simple. Let me give an example of how I make use of this technique.
What is a word? A word is nothing more than a variety of sounds. When we hear sounds that together concentrate to form a word with which we are familiar, there is an immediate thinking association.
The word conveys a thinking image to us because we have been taught the word has a special meaning. We have been conditioned to accept the meaning. Our minds have been programmed - whether consciously or unconsciously - to accept this particular meaning.
Acronyms are made-up words formed from the first letters of other words. The acronym Nato, for example, represents the words North American Treaty Organization.
Most people- whether they are English speaking or not - are familiar with the word "Nato". The reckon for this is because the meaning has come to be clear from continued usage.
When we hear or see the word Uno our minds immediately associate this made-up word with the United Nations Organization.
A Ufo is immediately associated in our minds with strange unidentified flying objects.
The meaning of these acronyms has been programmed - through continued usage - into our minds. When we see or hear the words we immediate associate it with the meaning.
But there are instances where the acronym is not familiar to everyone. For habitancy living in the United States, the acronym Ernie is unlikely to have any special meaning. The meaning is not familiar to them. It has not been programmed into their minds. However, residents of Britain immediately identify the word Ernie.
They associate it with the possibility of winning a great deal of money. Ernie, as most habitancy living in Britain are aware, is an acronym for "Electronic Random whole Indicator Equipment", which is the expedient employed to draw prize-winning numbers in the lottery.
In the same way as an acronym is ordinarily programmed into your mind by continued common usage, it is inherent to make up your own acronym, consisting of made up words of your own choosing, and intentionally programme it into your own mind, so that it has a special meaning for you.
It will be a personal acronym, representing words that have a special meaning only to you; words that can have a powerful, motivating effect.
I often make use of this technique to introduce "mysterious words or phrases" into my "secret language". These are words or phrases that motivate me to act in a inescapable way. They produce an immediate, positive, emotional response. It is a response that has been self-induced.
Let me give you an example of an acronym I use that all the time helps me cope with stressful incident. Whenever I am faced with unpleasant events or incidents that make me feel anxious and stressed, I force myself to remain icy calm, composed and unruffled. I keep reminding myself that I have unblemished control over my emotions and am capable of handling the situation.
In order to advance and reinforce this inescapable state of mind, I form an acronym from the words: "I have unblemished control".
The acronym then becomes the word, pronounced silently to myself, over and over again, as
Aye-Aitch- See-See.
This strange, made-up word from my own personal, underground language has now been so effectively programmed into my mind, it has an immediate, powerful, motivating effect.
When I am faced with any situation that might give rise to feelings of stress and anxiety, I simply say this acronym over and over to myself.
Regardless of how difficult and potentially stressful the incident may be, this simple technique helps me maintain my self-possession and composure. I am able to take the most effective and standard operation without being stressed in any way.
You may find this technique as useful and effective as I have.
